Every year I color eggs with the kids. We draw Bible scenes, springtime scenes, and saints. This year they started drawing people. I understand that saints are people, but I have never shared cookie recipes with Archbishop Fulton Sheen or received parenting advice from Fr. John Bosco. Superheroes and storybook characters capture the imagination and lead children to be their best selves. The priests in their lives lead the children by example.
