Now Is A New Creation

My family has entered into a season of change. We have had friends and loved ones move on to bigger and better things. It happens every year at this time. We are happy for them, and we wish them well. It does not soften the ache in our hearts for them.

The biggest change involves growing up.

Today marks the beginning of the change from pediatric care to grown up care. With new doctors and new personal responsibility, Mom is less involved. There is a bittersweetness to the idea, but everyone seems to be adjusting well.

We have been focusing on making things better. Reorganizing the house, clearing out closets, and making the household a little more efficient has been a goal now for ages. Now, is the time.

The one who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then he said, “Write these words down, for they are trustworthy and true." He said to me, “They are accomplished. I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give a gift from the spring of life-giving water. The victor will inherit these gifts, and I shall be his God, and he will be my son. Rev 21: 5-7
