Sharing the Dream

For a few years now, I have wanted to complete a project of epic proportions. What my family saw as unnecessary work, I saw as an opportunity to build something special. Each year we set aside time to undergo this task, and each year someone got sick or busy, and we had to put it off until next time.
This was the year everything changed. This was the year my family shared my vision. This was the year we decided to build something epic together. The time came to get started, we worked through the illness, and now the work is reward enough. They can see the goal. I don't even have to ask them to get started anymore. They want to complete the project as much as I do.
I just needed to wait for God's time.
Unless the LORD build the house, they labor in vain who build. Unless the LORD guard the city, in vain does the guard keep watch. It is vain for you to rise early and put off your rest at night, to eat bread earned by hard toil— all this God gives to his beloved in sleep. Psalm 127: 1-2
