I have an alarm clock set for 4:05pm. It is a Doctor Who themed clock that makes the TARDIS whoosh sound when it goes off. Every day, I do my best to muddle through all of the to-do's associated with running my humble household. Most of the time I don't really notice time passing. The next thing I know, it's 4:05pm.
To the outside world, 4:05pm seems kind of random and unimportant. In my world, it means everything. 4:05pm is the time when my husband clocks out at work. There is no small amount of eager anticipation of his arrival. There are moments when I worry about weather and traffic. Before long there is both relief and joy as he walks in the door.
I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in His Word. My soul waits for the Lord more than the watchmen wait for the dawn. More than the watchmen wait for the dawn let Israel wait for the Lord. For with the Lord there is kindness, as well as plenteous redemption. Psalm 130: 5-7
