As a homeschool family, we have always started our year in the springtime. My experience as a public school student is quite the opposite. Everything started in the fall. The new year was upon me with new clothes, new school supplies, new classroom or new school, the colors of leaves changed, the weather became more hospitable. I fell in love with fall. I was married in the fall. My first two children were born in the fall. Everything began in the fall.
God's promises are fulfilled in the fall. We celebrate the people living happily with God in Heaven in the fall. They knew Him, loved Him, and served Him here on Earth, and they went to be happy with Him in Heaven. This is happening right now, not someday, but today! We celebrate the end of this world and all things made new in the fall. Today is the day of rejoicing!
Brothers and sisters: have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4: 6-7
