I remember summer vacations being spent reading books and writing stories with my friends. There were plenty of notebooks, scented pencils and colored pens to go around. In the last thirty years, the technology has changed, and my own children are creating music videos with their friends.
They chose "Good Things" by singer/songwriter and Dad, Stephen M. Tefft. They wanted to do a horror movie tribute for the sake of irony. When I watched their finished product featuring encouraging lyrics set to the slasher-esc images, I noticed the hard truth veiled in comedic irony. Life is like that sometimes. It's best just to hold your head up high and put on a happy face. Good things are coming your way.
