There are two things that make my boys' hearts rejoice: filming and taekwondo. Last fall they were asked to make a film about taekwondo to be presented at the annual All School Demo (demonstration of skills). They felt honored to accept such a responsibility. This sort of thing had never been done before.
The Shifu's plan was to film a quasi-story each week during the advanced class, and the pieces would be given to my boys to edit. Edit, they did! They worked tirelessly, skipping meals, getting up early, getting to bed late, writing original music, and creating a cohesive story. After a few weeks, their masterpiece was finished. They took the external hard drive to their Shifu and went to teach their classes. Life could not have been better!
