For the past several months I have been preparing for an art show. I have fallen in and out of love with my art many times. I have become increasingly disillusioned with the process, and I have seen others give up on their dreams along the way. Factions have developed within the group. Bridges have been burned. I am not sure if our group will ever be the same. Whatever happens, I know God's providence will help us grow into something more and different and new.
I would like to offer a special thanks to the visual artists who supported the performing artists and to the performing artists who came together to support each other. Without the love and support of other artists, the performing artists would have played to an empty room.
In January we will begin a writing group. This is something that many of us have desired, but time had not allowed it. I am very much looking forward to working with fellow writers. If we help each other, we can build something wonderful!
