I find that I enjoy a lot of anime, dark fantasy, and science fiction. What they have in common is the hero's journey. During the course of the story, the protagonist never really knows where he will end up. He just has to keep moving forward. Along the way he meets people who help him or are in need of his help. No one could have predicted the hero would be in the appointed place at the appointed time to receive or to offer aid. It is as if he was sent there for that purpose.
The Lord has a way of doing that. He sends me to people and places. I never know what to expect. All I know is that He is in charge of my journey. As long as I stay on the path He has set for me, I will always be in the right place at the right time.
I bless the Lord Who offers me counsel; even during the night my heart instructs me. I keep the Lord always before me, for with Him at my right hand I will never fall. Therefore, my heart is glad and my soul rejoices; my body too is filled with confidence. For You will not abandon me to the netherworld or allow Your Holy One to suffer corruption. You will show me the path to life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence and everlasting delights at Your right hand. Psalm 16: 7-11
